"MEMORIES'
“MEMORIES”
Memories can be words which bounce off the brain
Remembrances which make you angry
Or if good - may keep you sane
Memories never fade and at times are forced to return
They come back to remember
The places they were burned
Burnt in the heart
Burnt in the soul
Burnt in the lives of which we now behold
They are never lost just stored with grace
In the sacred storage of a forgotten place
For Memories are the past; part of life yet to see
Of which without - Life would not be
They lay to be awakened
In a place to be redeemed
To be dealt with one day
On a different kind of scheme
I do remember you
Though Memories of you are vague, small and few
Do you remember me?
For at this moment I can hardly foresee
And to this unanticipated conversation end
What did you say your name is again?
As I stand exploring your delicate face
My memory does not recall a particular place
So, you are you?
And you are again?
Please bring back the Memories
Refresh me my Friend.
