Mother Nature
I walked down the road
for a long time today...
and I'll do it again,
any time, any place.
The birds were so happy,
the trees were all swaying...
and I thought of summer
as I passed children playing.
I sat in the dirt
for a time on my knees,
and I noticed the farms
in the sweet country breeze.
The horses were grazing
from beneath a blue sky,
with the sun shining bright
and white clouds drifting by.
Not one person will know
of the treasures I've seen,
since our Mother Nature
has brought back the spring.
I had a nice time on
my little walk today.
I will do it again...
any time, any place.
for a long time today...
and I'll do it again,
any time, any place.
The birds were so happy,
the trees were all swaying...
and I thought of summer
as I passed children playing.
I sat in the dirt
for a time on my knees,
and I noticed the farms
in the sweet country breeze.
The horses were grazing
from beneath a blue sky,
with the sun shining bright
and white clouds drifting by.
Not one person will know
of the treasures I've seen,
since our Mother Nature
has brought back the spring.
I had a nice time on
my little walk today.
I will do it again...
any time, any place.
