    Pray to God

    I wish someone cared
    about how I feel.
    Sometimes it hurts
    when nothing seems real.

    The same things happen
    day in, and day out...
    never making a change
and my life is in doubt.

As I look to the sky,
    I pray to God...
    "Whatever happened
    on this road I trod"?

    I then get a message
    from him up above...
    "Pray to me child
and I'll show you my love.

    You're unique in your ways,
    you're special to me...
    just don't give up,
and I'll help you to see

    That life is worth more
    than you're feeling today.
    Just pray to me child,
and I'll show you the way".

Thanks. At the time I was very depressed, and it uplifted me to write it. I think the messege was heaven-sent.

I'm glad it has helped you. As humans, we all go through very similar things in our lives, and it's worth it when you know it has touched someone else. there's always a better tomorrow, even if you can't see it coming :)

thank you :) I intend to read everyone's poems that has commented on mine...it might take me a bit to get to....I didn't even see this until now, and I apologize for that. My life has been very turbulant, but for the better. I will get to your poetry soon :)

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
