    • shhhh! If you're quiet you will hear the sound of my heart breaking.

    My Hero

    I feel
    his presence behind me.

    I feel
his hands glide over my skin.

    I feel
    so weak in my knees.

    I feel
    him nuzzle his face in
to the back of my neck.

    I think
    I love how he
    loves me!

    He loves
    gently!

    He loves
    passionately!

    He loves
    whole heartedly!

    Does he
    know he is my hero?

For he truly has saved me.

Is this the same guy as in "Why?" Or the one that came along as your heart's EMT? Thanks for sharing a glimpse at your drama. Struggling to find an equilibrium between feeling, reeling, and standing, thinking. Every woman's struggle.

I hate to say that he's the same.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
