    Broken?

     When you said

    "I no longer love you"

    Those words
    shattered my heart into pieces.

    Those words
    shattered my spirit.

    Those words
    were a knife
    that pierced into my soul.

    Now I see
    that you've moved on
    and forgotten about our love.

    Now I ponder
    why can't I do that?

    Why can't I
    move on?

    Why can't I
    replace you
    as you have me?

    Am I broken?

    Whew, ok now I can finally stop thinking that I am the only one who can't get over someone they once loved. I love your writing style, your writing reminds me of some of mine straight to the point and BAM there it is the question.... HUGS

    I really like the way you expressed how your felt about this love lost. Are you broken...not exactly. It's all about the healing.
