  • shhhh! If you're quiet you will hear the sound of my heart breaking.

I hate

I hate
How I still love you!

I hate
How you replaced me
so easily!

I hate
How  my heart feels as if it
has been dropped into
the depths of hell.

I hate
that I am filled with
so much hate!

I assume this to be an outpouring of the poets personal feelings and not just creative writing. If I am correct, I would say that expressing ones inner feelings, even where pure hatred is concerned, can be the first step to purging those feelings.

Yes this was a out pooring of my emotions. Yes it is a first step and it helped.

The hardest feeling in the world is loving and not being loved in return. You love until you have exhausted all that you know and feel, yet others deal with pain differently and irrationally, true love for anyone hurts yet you have to remember our most trials and tribulations come from love and the passion there of. I cry as you have cried and I long just as you have longed.........yet one day, one day, true love with passion untold

thank you for your kind beautiful words

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
