    • shhhh! If you're quiet you will hear the sound of my heart breaking.

    We Met

    We met
    The modern way.
    Words across the computer screne.

    I once said
"I built a wall around my heart
not to keep anyone out, but
to see who loved me enough to climb them."

    I placed wall after wall
    to keep you out.
    Each one you climbed.

    Part of me
    expected you to say
    "I give up!"

    What did you say
"What else do I need to climb?
    Tell me!
Tell me so I can climb it"

    That's when I realized.
The very walls that was meant to keep you out.
    Were actually surrounding you,
because you have climbed into my depth heart.

    All I can say now
    I love you
and I love the way you love me!

Words spoken deep in your heart and set in motion on the page. Images come to my mind of my own walls. This is very similar to the other one but so different. I like it. Is this the one you love in the pic??? HUGS

Yea that's him! He was the first to see it. He loved it.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
