    My Personal Hell

    Desperation ringing in my ears,
As I timidly turn to face my fears,
    Alone in my personal hell,
Alone in a deep dark murky well.

    Desperate to find a trace,
A trace of your smiling face,
    Searching for those beautiful eyes,
The eyes that told me so many lies.

    Straining to hear the voice,
The voice that gave me no choice,
    Except learn to love again,
Only to get hurt in the end.

    No longer looking for love,
    Longing for what's above,
I'll sit in the bottom of my well,
    Alone in my personal hell.
