    I call to him
    But he doesn't respond
My voice echoes in the shadows
But it falls on deaf ears

    My heart bleeds
    My mind races
    My body aches
For only one thing i crave

    He haunts my every thought
His name is at the tip of my tongue
His face is behind my eyelids
His love is beyond my reach

    I call to him
    But he doesn't respond
He has left his mark on me
    And it refuses to leave.

It is so true and painful. It always hurts when love isn't returned. It happens much too often. I really liked it.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
