Your poem

Unfamiliar waters
Struggling to stand
Refusing any assistance
Not even a helping hand

As the current pulls you in
Giant waves thrash about
Tumbling under the water
Seems like there's no way out

Battered and bruised
Lost and confused
Consumed by ill feelings
In desperate need of healing

When will the sea become calm again?
When will the current loosen its hold?
When will these waves subside?
Leaving you fearless and bold.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
