We all have boundaries
In which others can't cross
We learn to adjust to our
pain and our loss
Our Love becomes clouded
and our anger settles in
Our frustrations take hold
and the rage begins
The selfishness grabs you
deep from within
All the layers of dissappointments
start filling your brain
To think.... Only allows our sins enter in
and our fear, allows the flames to burn our skin
Locked in this cell, some call our mind
The air has grown stale
and now we are walking blind
These walls we've built for our own protection
Now seclude our thoughts with no direction
We now start to thrash, ripping through our own skin
Peeling away layers of pain and suffering
Violent thoughts, now replace the pain
No longer willing to sustain The Beast Within
Wanting to know what we will gain
Resentment? Compassion? LOVE? 
Or our charcoaled human remains?
