Plant a seed, make it grow
See it's beauty, feel it's glow
The petals upon this flower you see,
are hopes and dreams
and reflection's of me
Some so large, and some so small
So soon time passes, these petals will fall
So release all your worries
Forget all your fears
Behind all that, lies only tears
The petals are falling, the frost has set in
The seasons' have changed and winter begins
Without the love and nurturing this tiny seed needs
It then becomes wilted and brittle like weeds
When at this point the flower is slowly dying
It's hard to heal, once you have stopped trying
The memories I have hidden and cherished so long
Lay quietly waiting as time passes on...
My seedling lies deep in the earth below
The ground is now frozen and covered in snow
So fair and untouched, but soon to be bright
I'll see you agian when the time is right
The sun sets and rises over a period of time
All that lay yellow is now turning to lime
The colors more vivid, the fragrance devine
All memories come rushing back into my mind
My dreams, they seem clear now
and I've secured all my hopes
So now only time will tell, but no one really knows
The tall grass is blowing in the afternoon breeze
The colors... so beautiful, just look through them trees
For off in the distance lies that little patch of earth
Where my seedling lay buried, protected, secure
Through all changing seasons, my seedling has grown
One long stem blue rose now stands alone
Each blue silky petal on this rose you see
are memories you have held or shared with me
The past, the present, and the future to...
I may have gone to heaven, but I'm always with you
So just remember.....
 When you bend down to smell that blue rose...
I'll be the butterfly that's tickeling your nose.
