Razor Blade
In despair she holds a cold metal blade tightly to her wrist, Each beat of her broken heart thrusts her veins against the razor sharp blade begging for sweet release.
With tear filled eyes he takes her hand and places it blade and all to his chest, staring into each other's eyes they speak volumes to one another without muttering an audible word.
She understands and drops the blade, As she closes her eyes her tears fall with great force, only closed for a second and he is gone.
Her memory of him and his love for her haunts and protects her, protects her from herself.
He wishes for her not to take herself from the world but to use her pain to heal it.
Looking upon the ground she takes the blade and puts it back on her necklace,....... Just in case.....
