Some day
Violet streaks through the air,As dawn breaks,
Sun stretches his sleeply arms,
Hues of reds,
Oranges fly among the clouds,
Breakfast skipped again,
Work calls,
A job to anyone but me,
Pride in my sleepy smile,
The days before me,
Come and go,
Like grains of sand,
Drip, Drip, Drip,
Catching moments,
Between each breath of time,
Some day is before me,
In my minds eye,
There doesn't lie happiness,
Possiblities of some days though,
Lay in decisions,
Fate loves to roll the dice,
Yet I won't just be victim of fate,
Dancing in the winds of time,
Aimlessly and without purpose,
My time is before me,
I know what is out there,
Chains will not shackle me,
Nor will I lower myself,
They can keep their depravity,
Hells of their making,
Walking the path of my chosing,
Time passes as he always does,
Fate she smiles,
In a moment of thought,
A lifetime passes before all,
Just as it looks to end,
Begins again with a new thought,
Turning of the key,
With that a new day begins.
