Voyage of Dreams
Tis these times;Where our dreams wrap us in their warm embrace;
Allowing our broken wings to heal,
Our hearts to race;
Freedom in so many ways,
Chains fall away,
Time after time;
We should listen to our hearts,
In these simple times,
Storms surround our daily lives,
Our minds hold worries too tightly,
Voices screaming out,
They just want to be found,
No one showing they care,
Escaping simply into their dreams,
Comforting silence is there,
Yet those that can't,
Whether they are too afraid,
Or simply just can't let go.
Nothing can compair,
As they think they've lost everything,
They go out all night,
Sleeps embraces doesn't come,
Because what happens when you lose everything,
What do you have left to dream for,
Those pieces shattered,
Do you have the strength to pick them up?
Or shall the shackles of failure,
Forever hold you,
That question everyone must anwer,
At some point,
Strength of man,
May fail at any moment,
During those laps of dreams,
Invisible hands of friends and family,
Pick us up and dust us off,
In those moments;
Pieces of dreams slowly flow back,
Bright eyes begin to shine again,
These journeys happen in a blink,
Each night as we dream,
one hundred million lifetimes worth.
