    TALK TO ME

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS, AS THEY FLOW THROUGH YOUR MOUTH
THE RICHNESS OF YOUR VOICE, SENDS VIBRATIONS TO MY SOUTH

THE MANNER IN WHICH YOU SPEAK, IS LIKE A VOCABULARY OF SENSATION
TALK TO ME NOW, FOR I WANNA FEEL YOUR DICTATION

SPOKEN TO PERFECTION, YOUR SENTENCES THEY WILL NURSE
THE OPEN WOUNDS OF MY HEART, AS I BECOME ONE WITH YOUR VERSE.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
