thanksgiving

COME BEFORE HIM WITH THANKSGIVING
the frog jumped upon the lilly pad
and croaked "rivot ,rivot.

as his long tongue whipped the bug
out of the cool evening air.
thankful that he had his evening meal.

a young redish brown doxan dog
just giving birth to a litter of nine
wimppering puppies
wags her tail gratefully as her master brings in
her daily rations
thankful for food
to provide the milk
needed for those suckling
tongues.

life is a round robin
of helps,providing,loving,
caring,sharing
for all he has provided for
all that he created

with every form of life

from animal to human to forrests of trees
from the birdes and the bees,

we all come before
jesus with
thanksgiving
