berryl

white to a golden bright
reds and yellows straws to light green

the berryl stone stand waiting and
watching for you.
let a thought run through your mind
of the words you  have heard
and the books you have read.
think of the gems left for us
to ponder the colors in symbolism
of him and life.

take  the berryl stone and the storms
of nature and ones life.

the color of lights,golden hue
from firmament to fire

wheels to wings ;
                             love to loss
all turning at rapid speed
and not stopping to count the cost

berryl to a ball of fire
as he moves across the sky
not willing that anyone suffer and die

berryl has many shades of golden hue

I knew a woman named Beryl and on the outside she was far from what you describe here but I think deep down, she was probably a sweet woman. I love the metaphor in this piece. It's up to us to receive the precious gem.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
