    The March

    What do you love,
    While I worship today?
Praying for the changing of the
    guard, what many underestimate
as progress, I see hope in
    societal unrest.

    A war against the common
    citizen is waged from television
    evangelical terrorists. Infiltrated stories
    of faulty realities, to saturated
    news broadcasts soaked in
    ethnocentric explications; spoken
    by eclectic war mongers destroying
our mind-set by lying about the
    outset.

    Where the war started wasn’t
    in the towers crumbling. It
    was 1950’s destruction of communism.
    When American democracy was the
    iron fist against humanity.

Move to the 60’s when hippies
    were preaching peace. The oiled
    machine of cultural turmoil spoiled
    intellectual enlightenment by distracting
the movement with drugs, and controlled
portrayals of an angry youth that needed
to be moved against. From Malcolm to Huey,
Abbey to Ginsberg, can’t forget King.
An under ground society railed against
because they rallied to expose the
    workings of an imperial government.

    70’s cointelpro destruction of those
who knew. An under ground society
    demonized, and spied upon because
they were speaking with open eyes.
    Organizations founded on the principle
of people protection, obstructed by a new
brand of political action, the ever demonic
    action of assassination. Panthers singled
out and hunted down in the homes where
they protected their young. Black agents
    infiltrated, and castrated the potential
    momentum of heresy destroyed by
    exploitation.

Usher in the 80’s, a war on drugs
policed by the new global beast, feasting
on ignorance by blaming the trafficking
    on foreign elements.
An excuse to dominate global politics…
From Iran, to Afghanistan it was a
a politic to construct a new Iron curtain.
one weaved of red, white, and blue
    tyranny.

Mastodon marches in the 90’s. The
ATF, CIA, and FBI firmly in control
looking for a reason to enslave those at home.
    Oklahoma, A bill against terrorism
remained in an arena of probability.
    Thanks to Timmothy Mcveigh
the way was paved to American Fascism,
but one supplement was still missing,
    people filled with hatred.

    This new millennium constructed a
reason for terrorism. The towers fell
    and the people through ignorance
hated the ascetics world wide, we've
waged war against since the fifties.

Omnipotently I say watch our homes,
and neighborhoods fill with a new brand
of slave. All of the poor become the
constructors of a global empire more
infectious than the scourge of the bubonic.

Awake me from my nightmare and
reassure me all I see is merely a dream,
nothing’s as it seems. While smoke
billows from our cities, where full scale
warfare rages, empowering their right to
destroy and conquer our conscience with
a new brand of politics overseen by the
wealthiest of all heretics, the elected
    government officials.

    Survival will only become possible
if we unite to truly evolve freedom and
    prosperity from a lie to a Reality…

wow that was powerful.so so true, deep i love this.good work

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
