    This Journey
    I run, but it's not to hide.
    I am running to here, It starts in my mind.
    Sure, I am the gypsy tonight.
    I wake in the morning to see the same light.
    I know where to go and I know where I have been.
    For this winter, I am like a bear in a den.

    Springtime is near and my thoughts do shine.
    The path I do travel seems to take a long time.
    It's like a storm that comes from the sky.
    I have had that feeling of wanting to die.
    It's not to find peace or escape the struggle within.
    It's the person I have become is where I can begin.

    Before I take this journey my thoughts must be clear.
    I know where I want to be and this coming is near.
    I stand before you fooled through my ragged clothes.
    To who I am, my wealth does not show.
    You never know the artist, but maybe by a poem.
    I am off on my journey, I will find my home.
