My life was moving in the wrong direction,Making love to women sometimes with no protection,Taking chances cause i felt i was bless,Up all night freezing when i needed some rest,That's the way it was for a very long time,When i couldn't get high i committed a crime,No matter what i had to do it would get done,I could smoke some weed & drink by snatching a purse in run,That's the way it started years ago,Before i graduated from weed to the blow,Now getting high off this i do regret,As i look back in time my life was a reck,So i'mturning my head looking the other way,Thanking my higher power for giving me another day,To correct alot of the things i did wrong,I put it in poetry cause it sounds better then a song,But that's ok now i do have feelings,telling everyone how i was dealing,So to whom ever i hurt in my addiction,I'm apologizing now an i've been ressurrected.Thanks to my higher power for bringing me back to the ground,I was looking backwards but now i've Turned It Around.
