Waking up inside
Like the…
The whispering drops of rain
The savored moments, like the soft breezes of a rolling spring meadow
I know them well, when I lay next to you, holding to you
Like the sweet scent you wear
In my heart, written like the Law of God, a love so pure
So fundamentally pure, that I don’t know it to be
Anymore beautiful like the faces of angels
Delightful, like the Garden of Eden before the fall, before concupiscence
Beside me, in the late hour, in the early morning rise and before the last call to rest
Like the rising sun and overhead moonlight
Like the last time we kissed, the last moment we beheld
A beauteous thing, drowning out all misery that sin casts my way
It falls a like a sweet rain
Each drop, is deliciously beautiful like the last
And this rain is not one of sorrow, of tears of the Veil
And yet, these tears that fall sow life, like the seed which
Gives life and causes fruitfulness between Man and Woman
Like the cherry blossom, one can spend his or her life
Looking for a perfect bloom; it is a life not wasted in search
Cherished like the first breath, the last breath, the eternal breath
When I look upon you, bloodied or whole
The smile that lights up my day is like your hair which gently
Caresses the shores upon which I enter into in the midnight hour
To the swell of the curve by the low roads, and up into the mountains to be buried in your eyes.
By and by, Like the azure coast, and white sandy beaches,
I know this to be a paradise, when I set foot upon them
Into the temple, I do go to Join Yahweh in communion
To draw close, as if it were the first time, like it was the last time
And is this a dream? Can this be something I have been searching for this whole time, and not known it to be before me?
What is love?
Is it like the spring rain, or the summer heat?
The ever-changing autumn, or as frostily beautiful wintry lands, is it like that?
Oh, but have I KNOWN the answer to my questions
And in this, this is the love I have been searching for
She is You!
My lover, my friend and my wife
