Moonlight
Uplifted forever, riding on the winds with wings of an eagle
Sharing nothing else but words of incandescent fervor
And dancing, dancing upon the rose petals so sensually
Like we're bathing in the moonlight
With the kindling fireplace that is the life above and the life below
Drawing nigh unto love
Does it not draw us with such a vampiric illumination?
To swoon together when are in each others arms
To see the candlelight glow in each other's eyes
To hear the tepid rush of water by the river
And the gently rolling grass massages the ardent thoughts that lay in the grass
To speak so openly, unabashed
And so softly that the heat of the moment can spark us like kindling
With such words that the soft winds could carry our love throughout the ages
And to drink of the wine
To dine with such passion, feasting on the beauty that we behold in the other
While the diamond-like lights shine openly, brightly from the lunar star
Hearing nothing, bypassing the degradation
That the others would seek to bestow
So high up, I could see heaven
No, I see it already, when we dance in the moonlight
When I see the fire in your eyes
With such enamored passion, the kiss can set off a heavenly experience
To look upon the open sky
Seeing but many jewels that lay there, to be beheld by the Eyes of Men
I have and need only one jewel
The precious treasure that I will forever remember
Whenever I can look up
And stare into the Moonlight
