Waking Up

Waking Up

Wondering if my heart repairs awoken up by mindless glances
Thoughts creep in as tide to sand
what lengths in time that counts your birth
ends in a blunder of misguided angst

tremors outside by hammering street venues
yelling in languages outside of my reach
calming faces of abundance in personality
walk past as choreographed motions into abyss

Feel as it is for recognition of heart manual in effect
eyes wide open but felt closed by blinded light in the sky
bleak patterns on each wall as reminder to obtain knowledge in trends
stale bread reminding the passing through time is slow and steady
Can I push a repeat or mute for a timeless relevant

Shower like pebbles hitting my skin in removing nights mystery
Clean sent as fresh start in recognition of retrying it all over
Smile because no one cares to express what's hidden within
Walking out into the world full of choreographed steps and stale bread

dichotomies litter the landscape, believe in the beautiful you!

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
