Welcome to Hell
The day shall come that you decide to come through,
And there I'll be with open arms to welcome you.
Your own misery, pain and Hell can come too,
As I am the last being that you can run to,
I have this darkness ever so present,
Thought at once I was even Heaven sent,
But realized I can't get picked up like the scent,
Scent of deception, scent of greed,
Scent of the proverbial knife which made me bleed,
You cut me, you stabbed me after taking the lead,
Left me in this gutter, in this puddle like a seed,
Choked up I studder and think of how we cuddled just you and me,
You and me was how it was supposed to be,
But then misery interfered like it was close to me,
I can't see or breath,
I just want to leave,
As much as it tears me apart,
I'd still give you my heart,
It wasn't just lust as a goal,
It was love for your soul,
Love for your smile, love for your mind,
You showed me things I was too blind to find,
Anger begins to fill me as the distance slowly begins to kill me,
For my sins I will be judged by others as guilty,
So you may condemn me,
But don't pretend we weren't meant to be,
Thousands of miles and yet only a phone call away,
I want to tell you I love you, yet still refuse to make that call today,
I refuse to throw it all away,
Because I plan to run it all in a day,
So again beside you I can lay,
Again to place a smile on my face,
But just in case it doesn't go so well,
This was merely a glimpse of a glimpse of my own personal hell.
