    First poem I've been able to write since 2006. Hoping it's the end of my writers block.

    When A Poet Can't Write

    Once upon a lifetime ago
    split as I may have been
    The demons that tormented my
    mind, heart and soul
    could be vanquished by the
    stroke of my pen.

    Time has passed by and I'm
    some what more whole
    But the demons still
    slash at my heart!
    Yet when I grab my pen
    the ink has run dry-
    my mind and soul left
    torn apart.

    NO doctor by any means but i find if i get writters block and i go to a special place on my land and sit and listen to the trees talk to the wind it helps . Great write my friend Marie

    Very fine write! Sometimes when folks feel so torn they tend to block just about everything out; and sometimes it's a good thing, the mind, heart and spirits needs time to sort things our, get rebalanced and renewed. Other times at times when folks our so torned they write some of their best work; out of the darkness comes much beauty...Peace, Love and Light friend
