    YOU & ME

              
       The day turned to night,
    As if the day hadn't taken place,
           The cooler air, the sound of life,
        I could only see you by a trace of light!

         My thoughts raced with inticapation,
                My heart slowed with patience,
         My heart, feelings, some roses or carnations,
                         Maybe just this dance...

               I dream of you day and night,
                     I dream and dream of you....
               We hold onto one another tight,
                       The love God made for two,

    So tonight as I go to sleep again in soft light,
    Altho it's you I plainly can't see,
    I know we might know in first sight,
    A made in heaven love, you and me...
