    A Christmas Laugh or Two

If you got my packages quickly...
Cuz I sent them with the mail...
I swear I'll never again call them...
    The "crappyUSP snail"...

    I know you will wonder...
"Gee, what could these presents be?"
But please don't get too nervous...
When you see they're addressed.."From Emmie"...

    Once you have opened them...
    Then you'll see just why...
When the other gifts come to you...
It won't be a big surprise...

As you receive these other gifts...
    Just you wait and see...
The very first gift you got ...
Will definitely come in quite handy...

    Fill each one up...
And as you are driving home...
    "Don't eat while you're driving...
And don't talk on that darn phone!"

    All kidding aside now...
Though I know we all need to laugh...
Each day as we walk out the door...
Remember to say "I love you" as if it was your last...
I'm not a rich person by any means...
    But that doesn't mean I can't share...
It's mostly thoughts and love from my heart...
I send to show you I care...

I've sent a card for all of you...
    Because Christmas is for sharing...
A time to be hunble, a time to give...
A time for loving more and really caring...

    So, have a blessed holiday...
The end of this poem is in sight...
As Santa says, "Merry Christmas to all...
And to all a good night..."

I lied when I said the poem was ending...
And stole the "fat mans" quote...
But who really cares who says it...
At least I'm wearing a red coat!

This poem could go on forever...
But I think I'll end it right here...
I REALLY do hope you have a nice Christmas...
And a safe, healthy and happy new year...

I'm sorry, I thought of another verse to add...
I hope you find it fun...
Tell your relatives you loved the fruitcake
    they sent...
Then toss it in the pantry with the other ones!
