    Mom

    The tears in my eyes
    are for you, mom.
    How I wish they could
    wash away your pain.
    My heart aches with the
    sadness, mom...
    That you just don't feel
    the same.

    Your love for us is
    no longer, mom.
    Or, at least, it seems
    that way.
    Maybe time has altered
    your memory..
    and changed everything..
    Past...Present...Today.

I don't know for sure why
    you left us mom.
    I guess your reasons will
    always be
    A mystery to your children...
    One of them being...
    Me.

i pray that god will give us answers one day to all the seemingly simple questions we have...untill then as my mom would say pen to paper helps release the pain of not knowing..you are a great poet..

i thank you and pray the same and you're right, or your mom is right, pen to paper helps....a lot. thank you again

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
