    I See...

    I can feel your pain...
I know it's not easy for you...
To let go of what you feel deep inside...
To cry..and cry for yourself too....

    I know how you hurt...
I can see it in your eyes...
And sometimes when you try to hide it...
I can see how hard you try...

    I can feel your love...
I know how much you care...
    Especially for your children...
It's not hard for you to share...

I wish your mom could see you now...
With an open mind and heart...
I wish she would hold you close...
Let you into her life....let you be a part...

Let your tears fall on my shoulder...
Let go of your pain tonight...
I will hold you close to me...
    You just hold on tight...

I'll listen if you want me to...
You can talk to me, you know...
But if you'd rather be alone...
Just tell me and I'll go...

    Time goes by so quickly...
    Some people just never see...
How loving each other means so much...
And how wasted hate can be.

thank you so much, katrinaLeAnn. you are very kind to say this. i appreciate it nmore than you know.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
