A Plea From Mother Gaia
I am Mother Gaia
the Earth,
from me flows all
ride upon my currents.
All things come from me,
and eventually come back to me,
I am earth, water, air and fire
I am part of the All in All .
I am the giver of life,
nurturer of all that lives upon me,
I am the breast that man feeds upon.
Yet you would seek to destroy me,
first raping me ;
taking that which is not yours to take ;
nor mine to give, without destroying myself .
Have I not been a good mother ;
did I not nurture you in times
when the rest of the gods
would have had you destroyed .
Did I not yield unto you
time after time,
the substances of my very being,
all that you needed
to help you grow and learn
evolving into children of infinity.
From my bosom flows nourishment
from my heart I give you healing,
Yahveh chose me from all heavenly bodies
to form you out of.
Stop!
Please Stop!
As your Mother I beg you, please stop!
Drilling , reforming,
excavating, burning,
ravishing and raping me,
defacing and polluting me.
Once I was the envy
of all the planets
Once I was the envy
of all the planets,
once I was called the blue gem,
the perfect jewel of the universe.
