If you can heal me
Please take me
And mold me into something new
Refined, sincere, and respectably true.
If you can calm me
Break through me
Take away the shaken state
Add your peace to cure the hate.
If you can keep me
Please hold me.
Bring me close to your loving heart
So near we will not come apart.
If you can shield me
Protect me,
Cover me with your hand,
Guide me to the safest land.
If you can call me,
Please tell me,
Did you ever love me at all?
And if you did, why didn’t you call?....
