    Colors of My Soul

    Colors of my Soul

Like a kaliedoescope with colors swirling in brilliant hues,
my heart mixes with colors of you.
Twisting and turning, in patterns and shapes unending,
    never faltering, never bending.
Each color changing into different blends,
    Never the same, without end.
Mesmerized I stare and wonder in awe,
how I lived without you at all.
Noone sees the colors that my heart hides,
    only you are allowed inside.
Each second, hour and day,I sit and stare at the colorful array.
Each shape, each color holds a memory,
    of passion, love and ecstasy.
Mixing with colors of my own heart and soul,
creating new colors, for all to behold.
Hues that will color love for all time,
that is our love, yours and mine.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
