    The Day After

    The Day After
Yesterday was a good day, until the time you left.
I was in heaven in your arms, nothing else, was felt.
Then as suddenly as you came, it was time for you to go.
Now on The Day after, only missing you shows.
Your visits are short, and oh so passionate and sweet.
But on The Day after, I am lost, my mind an empty street.
I dont want any Day Afters, only tomorrows full of love.
Countless days, endless as the heavens above.
Where we never part, or say goodbyes,
but only get lost in each others eyes.
Where I never have to let you go,
but watch you and I, grow very old.
