Country Christmas
Sleigh bells are ringing in the country;
Horse drawn sleighs, line the roads.
Young children listen intently,
To stories of old that is told.
Carollers gather in the village square.
Their singing songs; spreading Christmas cheer.
Oh I just know in my heart,
It's going to be,
Another country Christmas this year.
Oh it's going to be a country Christmas.
You can feel it in the air.
Outside the snow flakes glisten,
As that special moment draws near.
The trees in the homes are all decorated;
Their covered with silver and gold.
All the little children,
Are snuggled in their beds;
Dreaming of toys they'll soon hold.
Oh it's going to be a country Christmas;
You can feel it in the air.
Outside the snowflakes glisten,
As that special moment draws near.
And if you listen carefully,
You may without a doubt hear,
A voice in the night,
That shouts out,
Clear and bright,
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
The trees in the homes are all decorated;
Their covered with silver and gold.
All the little children,
Are snuggled in their beds;
Dreaming of toys they'll soon hold.
Oh it's going to be a country Christmas;
You can feel it in the air.
Outside the snowflakes glisten,
As that special moment draws near.
And if you listen carefully,
You may without a doubt hear,
A voice in the night,
That shouts out,
Clear and bright,
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
