I Can Hear Your Heart
Thoughts from long ago.
I hear the beating of your heart,
I feel the touch,
Of your hand,
Although we are a part,
My heart will understand,
I feel the warmth,
Of your breath,
I taste your sweetness,
Upon my lips,
Every time we kiss,
This old heart,
Once more skips,
I lay upon,
The forest ground,
I listen to the wind.
I know,
That you are around,
The wind sighing,
Through the pines,
Makes the constant sound,
Yes I can hear your heart,
As I lay upon the ground,
The moonbeams shine down,
Through the forest canopy,
Shadows dance,
Our hearts,
In unison pound,
Through the vial,
Of heavenly light,
Our essence,
Flutters with the moonbeams,
As they dance upon the ground,
Although we are,
Many lifetimes apart,
I can hear your heart.
I hear the beating of your heart,
I feel the touch,
Of your hand,
Although we are a part,
My heart will understand,
I feel the warmth,
Of your breath,
I taste your sweetness,
Upon my lips,
Every time we kiss,
This old heart,
Once more skips,
I lay upon,
The forest ground,
I listen to the wind.
I know,
That you are around,
The wind sighing,
Through the pines,
Makes the constant sound,
Yes I can hear your heart,
As I lay upon the ground,
The moonbeams shine down,
Through the forest canopy,
Shadows dance,
Our hearts,
In unison pound,
Through the vial,
Of heavenly light,
Our essence,
Flutters with the moonbeams,
As they dance upon the ground,
Although we are,
Many lifetimes apart,
I can hear your heart.
