Holding on to You
by The Quail 1957, Jan 4, 2009
Sometimes dreams are all we have.
Deep within you,
I can see,
A tiny little piece of me,
You carry with you,
A summer’s breeze,
A wave that rolls,
Upon a thrashing sea,
You lay beside me,
While I sleep,
You watch me,
Comforting my weary soul,
In your hands and heart,
You forever keep,
That innocent child,
While he sleeps,
I feel the love,
Deep within as it grows,
Longing for your touch,
Anticipations begins to flow,
Like rolling thunder,
Emotions build,
Lips gently touch,
Tongues entwine as one,
I feel your breath,
Washing over me,
Like a hot summer’s breeze,
Our hearts pound,
Together as one,
As we rise and fall,
Slowly upon the ground,
We savor the love,
The passions found,
Yes deep within you,
I can see,
That tiny little piece of me,
