DESPAIR
When the balloon pops, You wake up to reality,What you thought was hope, Has eluded you again,
All the right words you heard,
Soon disappeared with a contradiction,
Followed by the fact that life is too good to be true,
What you heard is what you wanted to hear,
What you felt was a spark of life,
In a heart, In a cold dark place within,
It took you up so fast, Dizzy from the height,
But the trip back down, Spinning out if control,
Till you crashed, You dust yourself off, Realizing,
You were right back where you were before it all,
Happened!
Only difference was you had a taste of what could be,
The dreams, The life and Hopes,
Then you realized you couldn't have it,
You slowly sank into this pit of despair,
Life seems darker now, You wander aimlessly,
As you wonder what keeps you here,
A waste of space without desires,
You feel you don't deserve the light,
You find that sleep is the closest thing to death,
Without dying.....
