LIPSTICK AND SHADOWS
Your mind is half closed, Seeing only partial thoughts,Dreaming little bits of life,
Wiping the tears from your cheeks,
Covering the pain in lipstick and shadows,
Imagine the landscape your passing is just a blur,
Sort of what your life seems to be,
So fast with little time to do or make up,
Feelings of loss, Regret and why you didn't know,
Head high above the clouds you didn't see the storm coming,
Then it hit, Can still feel the sting, Taste the blood,
Looking in the rear view through red eyes,
You've come so far, Yet you ask yourself how much further,
How much farther can you go, How will it end,
Air born once again, Who now will save you,
And when you land, Who will pick up the pieces,
Who will put them all back together,
Will they all fit together once more?
