    Dolores is now, Three

     Dolores turned three years old, yesterday
    grown so much, since birth, in multiple ways-
    Counting to twenty, knowing colors..many shades
    understanding sizes, square...octagon, shapes' made.

    She loves to use her fork + spoon
    accidents happen, yet practices to perfection-
    walking so well, jumping and dancing
    She loves to say, Hello, oh yes, and sing !

    Dolores is growing so fast, with dignity
    I write poems + take photos, to save memories-
    I would not trade this Life, with Dolores at all
    We share imaginary dreams, through playtime, I recall.

    Reading books, not just poetry, is a passion we sharre
    A daughter & father...each dawn learning + sharing prayers-

    Oh this is so sweet..........three is such a great age!! I like how you describe things she likes. I can almost see her doing them. Thanks for sharing.
