    Pause in Time

     as darkness
    sets in about
    the land,
    over the tree tops
    grayish cumulus
    begins to form,
    as the electrified
    orchestra
    plays softly
    in the foreground,
    (not in central
    focus),
    the clouds begin
    to swirl,
    faster an faster

    trees, houses, animals
    and other
    optical illusions are
    flashin'..happenin',
    as you seem to be
    peakin' on
    the highest
    form of life

    close your eyes,
    the visions
    are gone-
