    until...

     I stand here at the edge of time
    watching MANKIND digress out of rhyme-
    holes thru my HEART, from my own kind
    as I bleed, my SOUL expands, yours DIES

    WE are HUMAN, yet are WE HUMANE
    i've touched others without CHAINS-
    DEMONS don't make US strange
    FEAR is human emotion, WHO'S really SANE--

    You say, "PEOPLE like ME don't belong HERE"
    but WE all live on the same SPHERE
    why can't YOU listen to what your told; "can't HEAR"-
    I'M an EARTHLING who wants to see next year

    SOCIETY, POLITICS, HIPICRITS, WHAT IS FREE
    bought then sold; name + number; contracted policy
    plenty of SPACE, in the AIR, and under the SEA....
    Yet, can only children laugh, understand & FORESEE..

    I like this. It is very deep and thought provoking. I know you that you care, and it's hard when people understand and still make the wrong choices.

    I agree. This poem is deep, and I got lost a little trying to make sense of it all. It sounds very political or philosophical. After reading ur response to connsk8, I understand that you're speaking for mankind as a whole towards the gov't... that makes more sense now. Sounds like you're pointing out maybe some of the history of this country, or speaking about discrimination, slavery, etc? Am I right?

    Deep, I had to read this twice to try and understand exactly who you were speaking for and I'm still not quite sure, in the end , I think you are speaking for all of us..reminds of parts of "The Shack", we are given free will, doesn't mean we don't abuse it...thank you from all of us who want to see "next year"...

    Thank you, for your kind words. Yes, I am speaking for the people, towards a money blinded goverment. We all would like to see next year + it to be better, amen !
