    Don't

    Don’t always believe

    What you hear.

    Don’t always believe

    What you see.

It may be your biggest cheer,

That you look better than me!

    Don’t always believe

    What you assume.

    Don’t always believe

    What you thought.

    Too many hidden lies consumed,

    Too many mouths are caught!

    Don’t waste your time

    Figuring out who said!

    Don’t waste your time

    Getting angry at all!

Some may only be playing with your head?

Some may just trick you for a fall?

    Don’t waste your energy

    On useless talks!

    Don’t waste your words

    On unwelcomed curse!

    For those energy just walks

And those words can fill your thirst.

I care not how you look!

I care not how you act!

But I’d think twice before my head is shook?

Accept who you are and that’s a fact!

Trying hard to be who you’re not!

    Trying hard to social climb!

    Branding oneself as being “HOT.”

Care to look at my behind?

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
