    Not Another

I don’t want to learn the word good-bye.... Read More
I don’t want to say the word.
    Not another teardrop to cry.
    Not another laughter unheard.

I don’t want to know the black & white.
I don’t want to see that anymore.
    Not another lonely night.
Not another walk out the door.

I don’t want to take another road.
I don’t want to feel the pain.
    Not another heartache bestowed.
    Not another pouring rain.

    I don’t want a dark day.
I don’t want to spend a night alone.
    Not another good-bye my way.
    Not another broken heart sewn.

I don’t want to be without you.
I don’t want to waste our time.
    Not another moment overdue.
Not another love I can’t call mine.
    Not another sun without shine.
