    Hands in praise

    Hands in praise

Just hold up your hands in praise

To a new day that has come!

We are blessed in many ways,

    It’s just minimal for some.

If we dwell on troubled water,

    We won’t get very far.

It’s the problems that make us stronger

It’s what makes us who we are.

    The finances and our life,

    It is the whole package.

We could do without the strife,

But what is wisdom without the damage?

We cannot be without the bad!

We cannot be without the good!

With all the happy and the sad,

We are where we shall and we are where we should.

Life is taken one day at a time.

    Life can never be hurried.

Like a pill may soothe a painful sign,

God’s antidote can cure the worried.

We are blessed every morning we wake.

We should be grateful for each day.

For all the problems we partake,

    It’s all temporary anyway.

So hold up your hands in praise

And hold up your heart in wonder!

For all the problems in our days,

The broken pieces shall keep us together.

Hands in praise for all, forever…

I agree with your poem, if it's trouble you desire, plenty will come your way. If there is happy and love for the LORD - many blessings are sure to follow. You have a great way of expressing your thoughts, this poem could be just what somebody needs to be turned around and give their life to the LORD. Keep up the Great work and Please keep writing. JESUS is LORD and KING !!

Thank you, Robert! God, My life, family & friends always keeps me inspired. God gave me the gift and I shall keep sharing.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
