    Poem Commentary

My friends steph, aj and justin are graduating so I am kinda making this out to them!

    Graduation

    Graduation day is finally here
And I cant help but dread this day
All my friends are leaving me
Now I am going to feel alone and sad

They are the ones that push me through eachday
But with them gone and off to college
    Who will I talk to?
    What will I ever do

I was calm at the rehearsal
    But now its really time
    So I am letting go
And it makes me want to cry

    Its almost time
I should begin to face the truth
We all grew up and moved on
They have pushed me through, and now I can see the world has many open doors for me

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
