    Poem Commentary

i wrote this because my friend could potentially end up dead because of what he is doing

    missing you

Remember those times you were always there
Everyday, everynight, the one who cared
Grabbing my hand when I was scared
Reliving the past you would always say
Enjoy the moment, life is to fast
Trueness embraces my tears when I cry
So sad now and I have to say goodbye

    So on your burial day
    Overwhelming tears I will shed
    Remembering all those nights
Remembering the times it was just us
Overcoming the obstacles we have faced
    Within eachothers hearts

May you rest in peace today
I have never wanted this day to come
    Sad thoughts trace my mind
    Some that I cant overcome
    I will always remember
Never forgeting the times we shared
Go on now and rest in peace

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
