    OUR FINALS ARE NEXT WEEK

    why

     Why do I sit here and do nothing
    I should be studying for finals
    My mom always says "You better get studying"
    I keep putting it off

    Part of me says study in advance
    The other part of me says study the night before
    Though the studying the night before sounds amazing
    I need to pass therefore I study in advance for my exams

    But when exactly does in advance begin?
    Who knows!
    My judgement is telling me a week in advance
    But if I study three nights in advance I might be just as well.

    This is funny. It's typical worries, that manage to pour into poetry, and it cracks me up :) I like it. It's simple and easy to understand. Good job

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
