    Poem Commentary

    its just a poem

    shattered glass

Shattered glass comes in a variety of forms
Whether it be a car accident
A mirror being thrown to the ground
Or a stong man with a glass cup in his hands accidentaly breaking it

Its never good when you get into a wreck
    I hope I never do
Just the thought of SHATTERED GLASS
Makes me cringe and cry at the thought

    A glass mirror that shattered
Is never good luck, only bad
That holds true for my husband and I
We have arguments all the time

Why exactly would you give a stong man a glass cup anyways?
Giving him a plastic or paper cup would be just as easy!
I mean he might break it if he is mad
    Or maybe just in general

    Shattered glass is never good
it requires a lot of cleaning up
The some forms of shattered glass is preventable
Glass from a wreck is a form of shattered glass that will never go away

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
