    Poem Commentary

    I know someone that was abused

    hurt

     I am hurt
    You dont know why
    Let me refresh your memory
    So you can see me cry

    You hit me
    More than once
    Twice, three times, maybe more
    I don't really want to remember

    You shoved me
    On many occasions
    Easter, Christmas and Halloween
    Wow! You really are mean

    Should I keep going
    Or should I stop there
    After all, its not at all fair
    So we will continue

    Back at my birthday
    Just last year
    You slapped me across the face
    Telling me to get out of here

    I went home and cryed
    Asking god what I had done wrong
    Asking for forgivness
    For something I never did

    I am hurt
    You dont know why
    Let me refresh your memory
    So you can see me cry

    omg thats an awsome poem sadly i can relate to that....only not so much the physical abuse but the emotional....great job keep it up.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
